Our Annual Halloween Parade
The Kiwanis Club's annual Halloween Parade has been
held in the community for over 30 years. The parade starts
with floats and other adult participants at Crofton Woods
Elementary School and then marches clockwise around the Parkway. We pick up the costumed children
from the Prince of Peace Church.
All then march the last half mile to Crofton Elementary School
where we serve refreshments, listen to the bands from the high
schools and other music, and watch while "Captain and Mrs.
Pumpkin" hand out several categories of prizes for best

The Crofton Kiwanis Club will be holding its 41st Annual
Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 28, 2017, and we invite
community organizations to participate in the Parade.
This year we will again use our traditional longer route,
which begins at Crofton Woods Elementary School at the intersection
of Urby Drive and Crofton Parkway. We will assemble at Crofton Woods
Elementary School between 10:00am and 11:00am with the parade
stepping-off promptly at 11:00am.
The parade will wind down Crofton Parkway past the Crofton
Country Club, with the costumed children and their parents joining
the parade at the Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church. It continues
down Crofton Parkway, ending at the Crofton Elementary School
on Duke of Kent Street. The Crofton Community lines the street to
join in the festivities which are enjoyed by young and old. The
parade lasts approximately one hour.
Registration for the costume contest will be held at the Prince
of Peace Presbyterian Church starting at 10:00 AM.
Elementary School on Duke of Kent St. we will distribute
refreshments, and award prizes for the best costumes.
